Bloomfield Hills

Bloomfield Hills is one of the highest concentrations of estates nestled on large private lots in all of Michigan. With less than 4000 residents, it is home to many of Michigan’s social elite; large business owners, executives in positions of authority and many individuals who have high profiles and prefer to reside on quiet private estates. Bloomfield Hills is home to the world renowned Cranbrook Institute of Science and Arts, the very selective Bloomfield Hills Country Club and the Bloomfield Open Hunt Club.

Bloomfield Township surrounds Bloomfield Hills Proper and is comprised of many different suburban neighborhoods and lake communities. It has typographical similarities to Bloomfield Hills Proper but has a much larger geographic area and population (10x). Bloomfield Township is home to many of the most coveted lakes in Michigan and also the two most prestigious gated communities in southeastern michigan: (Turtle Lake & Heron Bay); both have Bloomfield Hills mailing addresses.

Both Bloomfield Hills and Bloomfield Township provide more space, larger lots, rolling hills and more private neighborhoods; they are both in close proximity to downtown Birmingham with easy access to the major highways.
